1. Quiénes somos y a qué aplica
No van a ningún servidor nuestro.

1. Who we are and scope
This policy describes how AvisaCarga (hereafter, “the app”) handles data. It
is an Android application published by the developer amdev. It applies to the
app com.amdev.avisacarga downloaded from Google Play. By using it, you accept this
policy.
AvisaCarga finds electric-vehicle charging points near you and notifies you when one that was occupied becomes free. It has no servers of its own: there is no place of ours where your data is sent or stored.
2. What data the app processes
2.1. Your location
It is the only personal data the app needs in order to work, and it is optional: you can use the app without granting the permission.
- What it is used for. To find charging points around you, to sort them by distance, and — when you check the status of a point whose identifier the provider does not recognise — to locate it by where it is.
- What leaves your device. The coordinates travel to the data providers listed in section 5, together with the search radius. They never go to a server of ours.
- What stays. The last known location is stored on your own phone, so the app can search around it next time without asking again.
- If you do not grant it. The app still works, searching around a default location in Madrid. The screen tells you so at the time.
- Not in the background. The periodic checks of the chargers you are watching use the position of the charger, which comes from the public catalogue, not yours. The app does not track your location while you are not using it.
2.2. What is stored on your device and never leaves it
- The search radius and how often alerts are checked.
- The app theme (light, dark or the system one).
- The chargers you have put under watch, with their identifier and position.
- The last known location, as explained in 2.1.
- Your advertising-consent decision.
None of this is synced, backed up to the cloud or shared. If you uninstall the app, it is gone.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The app is free and is funded by advertising served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). In order to show ads, Google may process data such as your device’s advertising identifier and technical data (model, OS version, connection). That processing is governed by Google’s own policy:
In the European Union your consent is requested before ads are served, using Google’s consent form (UMP) built into the app. You can review or withdraw it at any time from the app’s own privacy form.
While there is no consent, no ad is requested at all: no banner, no video, and the ads system is not initialised. If you decline, the app keeps working without advertising; the only thing you will not be able to do is arm alerts, because an alert is paid for by watching a rewarded ad. The screen explains why and offers you both ways out: review your privacy options, or move to an ad-free version.
You can also turn off ad personalisation or reset your advertising identifier in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
We use no other analytics or measurement tools: the only third party processing data in the app is Google, as the ads provider.
4. Permissions the app uses
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION and ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION |
To find chargers near you and locate a point by its position. Optional: without it the app works with a default location. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID |
Advertising identifier, used by Google AdMob (see section 3). |
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE |
To query the data providers and load the ads. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS |
To send you the alert that a charger has become free. |
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC |
To keep the watch running while you wait. |
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM and WAKE_LOCK |
So the checks happen on time. |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED |
So your watches keep working after you restart your phone. |
The last four give no access to any of your data: they only let the alert arrive on time and keep working. The app does not request storage permission, and does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
5. Charging-point data providers
To find out which chargers are nearby and whether they are free, the app queries public services. They receive no identifier of yours, only the position needed to answer the query:
- Open Charge Map — the list of charging points around you. It receives the latitude, longitude, search radius and maximum number of results. Its policy.
- Red Eléctrica de España — REVE (
mapareve.es) — whether a specific point is free or occupied. It receives the point’s identifier and, when that identifier is not recognised, a geographic bounding box around its position so it can be located. - MITECO — Geoportal de Gasolineras
(
geoportalgasolineras.es) — the official charging-point catalogue for each province. A copy travels inside the app so it works offline; only the catalogue of the province you want to refresh is downloaded.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect data from any child. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app, write to us and we will help you delete any data.
7. Retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives only on your device. To delete it, simply clear the app’s data (Settings → Apps → AvisaCarga → Clear data) or uninstall it. No copy remains on our servers, because there are none.
Data Google processes to serve ads is subject to the retention periods in its own policy.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to antoniomartinezdeveloper@gmail.com.
In practice, you can exercise most of them yourself, without depending on anyone:
- Delete everything. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes everything it had stored from your phone.
- Withdraw consent. Open the privacy form from inside the app and change your decision.
- The advertising identifier. You can reset or disable it in Android settings, under Settings → Google → Ads.
- Location. You can revoke the permission at any time from system settings.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
9. Security and changes
Communications with the data providers and with Google always use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and whatever the app stores stays in its internal storage, which the operating system isolates from other applications. Since we have no servers of our own, there is no remote place where your data could leak.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date.
