1. Quiénes somos y a qué aplica
No acceden a ningún dato tuyo. |
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE y
READ_GSERVICES |
No acceden a ningún dato tuyo. |
USE_BIOMETRIC y USE_FINGERPRINT |

1. Who we are and scope
This policy describes how Domino3D Online (hereafter, “the app”) handles
data. It is an Android application published by the developer amdev. It
applies to the app com.amdev.domino3d downloaded from Google Play. By using it, you
accept this policy.
Domino3D Online is classic dominoes on a 3D table, free and funded by advertising. It has two clearly different halves:
- Against the machine (quick play, round games, Easy / Medium / Hard): works offline and sends nothing anywhere.
- Online (search for an opponent, private table, Challenge Room and leaderboard): uses Firebase, Google’s service, so that two phones see the same game. This is what section 2.2 explains.
The app has no servers of its own: the online half is the Google services described here, and everything else stays on your device.
2. What data the app processes
2.1. What stays on your device and never leaves it
- Your player name and the chosen difficulty level.
- Sound: whether it is on and at what volume.
- Your two online switches: online game alert and appear in the Challenge Room.
- Your coin wallet, what you have bought in the Store (tables and tiles) and which ones you have equipped.
- Your streak and the history of your last 10 games against the machine, plus your local game statistics.
None of this is sent anywhere except what section 2.2 describes. It is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
2.2. What leaves the device when you play online
Online play runs on Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database, two Google services. They are only used when you open the app (to have a session) and when you play online. The connection is encrypted (HTTPS) and Google runs the databases; we have no server of our own.
| Data | What it is for | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| A user identifier (a random string generated by Firebase) | To know which profile, wallet and game are yours | The app only |
Your player name. If you do not type one, the app uses
JUGADOR plus four characters of that identifier |
So the rival knows who they are playing and the leaderboard can name you | Public: other players see it |
| Wins, losses, coins and difference (wins minus losses) | The global leaderboard and level-based matching | Public: it is the top-players table |
| Your store (which tables and tiles you bought) and your wallet | So your purchases and coins follow you to another phone or when you link your account | The app only |
| Your streak and the history of your last 10 games against the machine | So your progress is not lost when you change device | The app only |
| While the app is open: what you are doing (in the menu, in a local game or in an online game), the time of the last signal and the table and tiles you have equipped | So the Challenge Room shows who is available and how they look | Public: players in the Challenge Room see it |
| In an online game: your move (the tile and when you play it) | So the rival sees the same table as you | The rival in that game only, while it lasts |
And this never leaves the device: your email address, your contacts, your photos and files, your location, your microphone, your camera and the list of apps you have installed. The app neither asks for them nor can read them.
2.3. Your Google account (optional)
You can play online without any account: the app opens an anonymous Firebase session, which carries none of your data, and with it you play, appear on the leaderboard and keep your progress on that phone.
If you want your purchases and progress to follow you to another device, you can link your Google account from the Settings screen. When you link it, Google (through Firebase Authentication) confirms who you are and the app shows your account name on the Stats screen, so you know which one is in use.
- Your account email is never published and is not stored in the game data: it does not appear on the leaderboard, in the Challenge Room or in the profile. Only you see it, on your Stats screen.
- What linking does is put your name in your online profile and allow that same profile to be opened from another phone.
- Google’s handling of your account is governed by its own policy.
2.4. The online half is public: choose your name with that in mind
Your player name is the only thing that identifies you to others and you choose it (change it in Settings → Player name). It appears on the leaderboard, in the Challenge Room and in the notice the rival gets when you challenge them. So do not put personal data in it: a nickname beats your real name, your phone number or your email.
The app has no chat or messages between players: you cannot write to your rival, send photos or use voice. The only things exchanged are the moves and the result. You cannot look up a specific person either: challenges go to whoever is available in the Challenge Room, and private tables are shared with whoever you want using the app itself.
If you switch off appear in the Challenge Room, your row is not published and nobody can see or challenge you, although you can still challenge others.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The app is free and funded by advertising served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). There are three formats: a banner at the bottom of the menu, a full-screen ad now and then when a game ends, and a rewarded video that only plays if you ask for it, to earn extra coins in the Store. To display ads, Google may process data such as your device’s advertising ID and technical data (model, OS version, connection). That processing is governed by Google’s policies:
In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google requires your consent for personalised ads. In this version of the app that notice is still handled by our AdMob account settings, and you control personalisation from the Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads), where you can also reset or turn off your advertising ID.
The app’s ads are not directed at children and we ask for no data of yours to show them. The banner can be removed for three days by redeeming it in the Store with the coins you win by playing.
There are no in-app purchases: coins are earned by playing or by watching a rewarded video, and nothing is paid for. We use no other analytics or measurement tool either: the only third party processing data in the app is Google, as the ads provider and as the online play service.
4. Permissions the app uses
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE |
To play online and to load ads. These are the only two permissions the app declares on its own. |
VIBRATE |
To vibrate on a move. It can be ignored: it gives access to no data. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID |
Advertising identifier, requested by the ads SDK (see section 3). |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION and
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS |
Added by Google’s ads SDK (Android Privacy Sandbox). They access no data of yours. |
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE and
READ_GSERVICES |
Added by Google’s libraries to receive turn alerts and keep the connection while you play. They access no data of yours. |
USE_BIOMETRIC and USE_FINGERPRINT |
Added by the Google sign-in library. The app uses neither fingerprint nor face for anything: there is no screen that asks for them. |
The app requests no storage, location, contacts, camera or microphone permission, and it does not ask for notifications: turn alerts are shown inside the game while the app is open.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect data from any child. It is a family board game, so if a child plays on your device, do so under your supervision and pick a player name with no personal data: it is the only thing others will see. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app, write to us and we will help you delete any data.
6. Retention and deletion
On your phone. Everything in section 2.1 is removed with Settings → Apps → Domino3D Online → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. No copy remains anywhere of ours, because we have no servers.
Online. Your profile, your leaderboard row, your store, your wallet, your history and the games you take part in live in Firebase. To have them deleted, write to amdevelopersoft@gmail.com stating the Google account you linked the game with (or, if you played anonymously, the player name and an approximate date you played) and what you want deleted: your progress, your presence on the leaderboard, the whole account, or everything.
- We reply and do it within a maximum of 30 days.
- Deleting the online account does not touch your phone: for that, clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
- When you uninstall, your Challenge Room row disappears on its own: it is withdrawn every time you leave the game.
- The data Google processes to serve ads follows the retention periods in its own policy.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to amdevelopersoft@gmail.com.
In practice you can exercise a good part of them yourself, without depending on anyone:
- Change your name. In Settings → Player name, whenever you like.
- Stop appearing. The appear in the Challenge Room switch takes you off the other players’ list.
- Delete everything local. Clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
- Delete the cloud data. Ask at the contact email, as explained in section 6.
- The advertising ID. You can reset or turn it off in the Android settings, under Settings → Google → Ads.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
8. Security and changes
Communications with Firebase and Google always use an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the databases is closed by rules: each player can only write their own row, and reading requires a session in the app, so a profile cannot be touched from outside. What the app stores on your phone lives in its internal storage, which the operating system isolates from other applications.
Neither party can promise absolute security, but one thing you can be sure of: the player name is the only thing of yours that others see, so do not put personal data there.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date.
